My name is Kirby V. Abraham and I am currently a sophomore student here at the University of Alabama. I am from a small town here in the great state of Alabama which is Uniontown. My town is small, but large at heart.
Technology is a great access to the world today. Especially in the classroom, it gives students the opportunity to interact with what they are being taught. It makes education fun in many ways. The internet is a great way for students to show other people what they are being taught and get information on how to keep the lesson in their mind. If the school does not have the funds to allow field trips the web is a great way to have field trips inside the classroom.

There is great similarity between cognitive and learning styles. They both teach you about yourself and how we interact with world around us. Recently, I took online tests that taught me things about my personality and the best ways for me to learn. Throughout this paper it will describe which test taught me about my personality and my learn capabilities. Yes, I believe both tests to be true, because they describe me perfectly.
I am a Movie Star, based on the cognitive online test I took. Cognitive style has to deal with ones personality. A person’s personality can be measured in sixteen different ways and my free on line test, tested all of these areas. My personality is based on two personality sub-types- my primary and dominant sub-type. By my personility test I am described as a Movie Star with "Golden" characteristics and my secondary sub-type is defined by "Success" characteristics.
The tested was entitled The Tickle Test. Its whole purpose was to measure my confidence, apprehension, willingness to take risks, and my focus on experience versus appearance. The primary traits that determines my personality. Based on my responses, I am definitely a Movie Star. (http://web.tickle.com/personality/result.jsp?PREMIUM=Y)
The learning style deals with the way you learn and how a person deals with ideas and day to day situations. There are two types of learning styles an active learner and a reflective learner. An active learner learns in a group setting. These people learn better with the help of others. They retain more information if they have people around them to compare notes. Then there is reflective learner who learners by the themselves. They like to study individually and are known to excel better if they do things on their own.
The test that I took for learning style which was entitled Learning Styles on Line taught that I am a social person. I learn better when I placed in groups. It allows me t interact and get my point across better.( http://www.learning-styles-online.com/inventory/results.asp?groupID= )
